Natural Playscapes!
We all have the opportunity to create beautiful environments for our children and ourselves. By working together with our communities we can do amazing things. This keynote address will get you to think about your outdoor spaces in a new way and inspire you to dream new possibilities for your children.
We will look at creative play spaces from around the world as examples and talk about how to bring all the good stuff to children: trees, grass, sand, water, hills, mud, gardens, sound elements, pathways, living willow huts, and much more. The natural play scape movement has begun. Now is the perfect time to build our dreams! |

In this presentation, conferees will learn about the benefits of touch to physical, cognitive, social and emotional development, as well as ways to help children meet their individual touch needs through a touch curriculum that includes rough and tumble play as a necessary component. |
