Interlake Region

News and Information

What's happening in the Interlake Region?

Well, the wheels are rolling to get another year of Professional Development under way.  One of the goals for MCCA this year is to improve communication with the rural members, to make this possible we need your help. Please make sure the Regional Board has your updated contact information. Thank you to everyone who sent in their survey and email/mailing addresses.

Let us know any time that you are not receiving things or if you have a change in information.

Our goal is to get the information out there and your job is to make the effort to know what is being offered and to show your support by attending our workshops, responding to surveys and correspondence. Read your bridges, the articles are great and the regional page will keep you informed as to what going on is closer to home! Also, we’d love to hear feedback from you!

Teacher Talk Workshop

The Interlake Region is sponsoring in part, a workshop “Teacher Talk” being held in 3 full day session in Gimli. Staffs from all centres in our region have registered to attend. If it is successful, they may offer it again in the future. I am looking forward to hearing feedback from this event.

We are always looking at ways to improve the services we offer to our regional members. We have sent out surveys and email permission forms to all centers so the regional board can have everyone’s personal contact information to send them information directly instead of through the centers in the hopes that the members will feel more in touch with what is happening in their region.  If you have not seen these forms, ask your director if they have received it. Feel free to send your comments, and ideas our way, we‘d love to hear from you!
