Travel & Accommodation Subsidy

Travel & Accommodation Subsidy is available to MCCA members who live outside of Winnipeg.

• Applicants must have been an MCCA member as of Jan. 13, 2012 to qualify to receive subsidy.
• The amount of subsidy granted to each individual will depend on the number of requests MCCA receives.
• MCCA does not reimburse for mileage, travel subsidy is based on actual gas costs.  Delegates should fill up their vehicle with gas, just prior to driving to the conference and then along the way to Winnipeg and then upon returning fill their vehicle again.  Submit all receipts with the application.  Filling your vehicle up at the beginning shows us you started with a full tank of gas, this receipt should not be included in your total for reimbursement.
• Members can also apply for travel subsidy if they have taken a bus or a plane to attend the conference and a portion (dependent on available funds will be reimbursed).
• For hotel accommodation the delegate will be reimbursed $30.00 per night and if the room is shared with 2, 3, or more people then the maximum amount reimbursed is $60.00.  Only one person is required to fill out the subsidy form and must include the hotel receipts and if the room is shared must include the name of the person(s) who shared the room.
• Please ensure that all receipts are included with the completed subsidy application.
• Subsidy applications will also be available at the conference.
• Deadline for subsidy applications is June 8, 2012.
